ABSTRACT

The Internet plays an important role in our daily lives. It has become an integral part of all daily activities or lifestyles. The dark web is like a faulty hidden layer on the Internet commonly used to store and access digital information. But there are many incidents that reported abuse of this forum, which is to demonstrate criminals and illegal activities in a hidden way. This letter presents the comments from different browsers used to reach Dark Web and Dark Web. An insight into various aspects of the Dark Web, such as features, advantages, disadvantages, and browsers, is discussed. The observation type, use, and malicious software for DAT attacks are also preplanned. The dark web is discussed on the dietic type of criminal activities and events so that the readers can become aware of such activities and take appropriate protective measures for these activities.

Keywords: Internet, Dark Web, Darknet, Tor, Onion Routing

Introduction The Internet has three parts: Surface web: The section we use daily, such as Google, social media, and news sites. Deep Web: Hidden Pages that are not found on Google, such as private email messages, bank accounts, and medical records. Dark Web: A secret part of the Internet requires special browsers to access. The dark web is not illegal in itself, but many criminals use it because it hides their identity. This article shows what the dark web is, the crimes happening there, and how the police are trying to stop them. "Faulty hidden layer": This phrase is a metaphor. While the dark web is hidden, it's not inherently "faulty." It's designed for anonymity, which can be misused. Consider revising to "hidden layer" or "anonymized layer." "DAT attacks": This abbreviation is not standard. Define it on first use (e.g., "Data Access Theft (DAT) attacks").

Is the dark net dangerous? While the Dark Web can serve valid features, it is important to know the inherent dangers well. Users should be fully aware of the first capacity risk compared to being seductive with this platform. Big concerns include: Cybercrime: Dark Web is a center for online criminals that dedicates illegal activities with identification robbery, credit card robbery, and distribution of malicious software. These cybercriminals often use dark oblivion to hide their activities for enforcing regulations. Illegal activities: dark networks, drug smuggling, weapons, and human trafficking, inclusive of illegal activities. Users in these activities threaten prosecution and prison. Scams: Many dark web site sites are designed to prevent customers' personal records or cash. It is important to be careful and use warning when using Dark Web.

Malware: The Dark Web is also a popular place for cyber criminals who can infect customers' devices to distribute harmful software and borrow their personal records. The dark web is a complex and dangerous area that should be carefully contacted. Although there are valid applications for dark networks, users must be private for dangers that achieve access. Online crime, illegal activities, fraud, and harmful software are just a few dangers that users encounter when using Dark Web. It is necessary to use caution when using the dark web, be careful, and enter into a suspected interest in enforcing regulations. How dark network works Dark Web users use special networks such as Tor, I2P, and Frenet to hide the user's identity. These networks make it difficult for anyone who includes the police to track. Sites on the Dark Web do not have normal addresses like ". com" or ". org.

" Instead, they use ". onion" or ". I2p" and can only be reached using special browsers like Tor. Because of this, it is difficult for law enforcement to keep criminals using the Dark Web. Crime on dark net There are many illegal activities on the Dark Web, including:

1. Sell illegal goods

Dark Web has online stores that sell: Drug Fake Passports and ID Weapon Stolen credit card information These sites act as Amazon but use cryptocurrency (such as Bitcoin) instead of normal means to hide the transaction. Some well-known dark web markets, such as Silk Road and Alfabe, have been closed, but new people continue to appear.

2. Tor: free software for enabling anonymous communication.

Bitcoin: A digital currency used for online transactions.

2. Hacking services

Hackers sell malicious software on the dark web, for example: Rainmware (locks a computer until ransom is paid) Fishing sets (username and password stolen) DDOs Attack (Crash Website with Traffic) These units help attack criminals, companies, and even governments.

3. Stolen data and economic scams

Personal information such as bank details, passwords, and social security numbers is sold on the Dark Web. Criminals use this information for identity theft, fraud, and money laundering.

4. Drugs

Dark Web is used to buy and sell illegal medicines such as cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. Dealers use secret codes and anonymous shipping to avoid being caught. Although law enforcement medicines close the markets, new people replace them.

5. Trafficking of human beings and exploitation

Some of the most terrible crimes, such as child and human abuse, are on the dark network. Criminals use secret chat groups and encrypted messages, making it difficult for officials to stop them. How the police fight with dark web crime The government and cyber security experts work hard to prevent dark web crimes. They use different methods, for example:

1. Close illegal sites

The authorities have reduced large dark web markets such as Silk Road and Alphabe. Groups such as the FBI and Europeol use undercover agents and web tools to track criminals.

2. Tracking of Cryptocurrency Transactions

Although cryptocurrency provides privacy, experts have developed equipment to detect illegal

payments. Police use blockchain analysis to follow the money and find criminals.

3. Improvement of web security

Governments invest in better cyber security because the dark net has to protect people. Shiksha Abhiyan also helps people stay safe and avoid fraud. Conclusion The Dark Web was designed for privacy and secure communication, but criminals use it to perform cybercrime. Law enforcement is working hard to prevent illegal activities, but criminals continue to search for new ways of hiding. By increasing cyber security and consciousness, we can help reduce the dangers of the Dark Web and make the Internet a safe place.
