The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Musabani P. S. Case No. 05 of 2024, G. R. Case No. 39 of 2024, S. T. Case No. 379 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila. On 09. 01. 2024 at about 7:00 P. M.
, Musabani police on the basis of confidential information that some miscreants have assembled near Benashol river and they were making preparation for committing dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended the petitioner along with several co-accused persons. On search arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of co-accused persons. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody since 10. 01. 2024. Learned A. P. P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Ghatshila, in connection with Musabani P. S.
