24195 OF 2016 J U D G M E N T This writ petition has been filed seeking the following prayers: i)issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction commanding the 1st respondent to appoint the petitioners in the existing vacancy as per Ext. P4 rank list. ii)issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ order or st direction commanding the 1 and 2nd respondent to call for the records leading to Ext. P5 and quash the same. iii) issue such other order or direction as this Honourable Court may be deem fit and proper to grant in the facts and circumstances including cost of this case. nd 2. A counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the 2 respondent stating that the rank list was published on 21. 01. 2015, which was in force for a period of three years. 3. The validity of the rank list was expired in the year 2018 and nothing survives for consideration in the writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
