Heard Mr. H. K. Shikarwar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A. P. P. for the State. The petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail, as he is apprehending his arrest in connection with G(F) Case No. 59 of 2017. It has been alleged that the accused persons had cut eucalyptus trees and kept it in the forest area. The petitioner is named in the offence report but the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was never present at the place of occurrence. It has further been submitted that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.
On consideration of the submission advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and on such surrender, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial st Magistrate, 1 Class, Hazaribag in connection with G(F) Case No. 59 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
