Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite party no. 1. 2. In view of order being proposed to be passed, notices to opposite parties no. 2 to 22 stand dispensed with. 3. Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking a direction to the authority concerned for expeditious disposal of Case No. 1831 of 2023 instituted under Section 70 of the U. P. Cooperative Society Act, 1965. 4. It is submitted that all the parties to the dispute have already put in appearance and the case is fixed for final hearing but since general dates are being allocated, expedite orders are required to passed. 5.
In view of aforesaid submissions, opposite party no. 1 i. e. Sub District Magistrate, Tehsil Sadar, District Lucknow is directed to decide the Case No. 1831 of 2023; Praveen Singh & Anr. versus Uttar Pradesh Sahkari Samitiyan Nirvachan Ayog and Ors. expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is brought on record of proceedings in case there is no legal impediment. 6. It is needless to observe that the petitioner and his local counsel shall cooperate in the early disposal of the case. In case of non-cooperation, benefit of this order shall not be available to the petitioner. 7. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed of.
