The present application has been instituted on behalf of Shri Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh, the applicant herein, praying as follows : “In the above fact and circumstances it is therefore prayed that your lordship may please be allowed to produce the additional list of witnesses and examine for the ends of Justice. ” A perusal of the paragraph 4 of the application reveals that the applicant/respondent No.
1 seeks permission to produce and examine 74 (seventy-four) additional witnesses. In view of the circumstance that it is urged on behalf of the applicant/respondent No. 1 that the evidence of aforementioned 74 P a g e | 2 witnesses is relevant for the effective adjudication of the case, the relief prayed for in the application is allowed; subject; however, to the applicant filing the affidavits by way of evidence on behalf of the said 74 witnesses within 3 (three) weeks from today after providing advance copies to learned counsel appearing on behalf of the original petitioner/non-applicant, without fail.
