Bhambhani has tendered copy of the affidavit sworn by the petitioner along with the consent agreement executed by and between the parties and submitted that the petitioner has challenged the order granting maintenance to the respondent - wife but pending this petition, amicable settlement has been arrived at by and between the parties and the petitioner has paid an amount of Rs. 1,80,000/- (Rupees One Lac Eighty Thousand Only) towards the permanent alimony to the respondent – wife and, thereafter, consent agreement has been R/SCR. A/9152/2017 ORDER DATED: 18/04/2024 executed between the parties and, hence, nothing has remained in the matter in view of the settlement and, hence, this petition has become infructuous.
