It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher on 01. 08. 1986. He was promoted upto the post of Block Educational Officer and retired on 31. 07. 2024.
After his rd th retirement, the 3 respondent forwarded a proposal to the 4 respondent th for sanction of pension and terminal benefits. Accordingly, the 4 respondent sanctioned pension and other retirement benefits. However, rd the 3 respondent has kept the proposal pending without giving a “No Objection Certificate” . 3. According to the petitioner, he had served 38 years of unblemished service. After retirement, he has no income for his livelihood and is suffering a lot of financial crisis. He gave a representation dated rd 05. 03. 2026 to the 3 respondent requesting issuance of the No Objection rd Certificate. In spite of his several requests, the 3 respondent has not come forward to issue the same. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a mandamus rd is issued to the 3 respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05. 03. 2026 taking note of the subsequent events and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that entitled amount shall be paid to the petitioner. 6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
