The petitioner had claimed that her husband Satinder Kumar had been illegally detained by his family members and she was not being provided any information with regard to his whereabouts.

The husband of the petitioner has informed the police that he would be visiting his home after Diwali. 3 Long and short of the status report is that husband of the petitioner has neither been illegally detained nor confined, but is residing out of his own free will and volition in the aforesaid ‘Ashram’. 4 Once that be so, obviously this petition is clearly misconceived and dismissed as such.
