Bhagath Sain, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant pleader Government for Services-l I appearing for the respondents and perused the material on record. with their consent, this Writ petition is taken up lbr disposal at the stage of admission itseif. 2. Learrred counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed the instant Writ Petition questioning the action of the respondents in not releasing the petitioner,s retiral benefits, despite token numbers having already been raised by the respondent authorities for payment of the amounts payable to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the lis raised in the present Writ Petition has already been adjudicated by the Division Bench of this Court in W. P. No. 23138 of 2025, which was disposed of uide order dated A3. O9. 2O25, and thus prayed to pass a similar order in the present Writ Petition also. 4.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-Ill did not dispute the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the disposal of W. P. No. 23138 of 2025 dated 03. 09. 20 25 and, submits that the respondents will release the amounts on a priority basis of the token numbers and prayed this Court to pass appropriate orders. 5. Having regard to the above made submissions and for the reasons alike in the order dated 03. 09. 2025 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W. P. No. 23138 of 2025, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to ensure the ent re amount payable to the petitioner is released. expeditir>usly as possible, preferably within a period weeks from today, failing which, the entire arnount with to the re'tiral benefits shall carry interest at the rate of annum, from the date the amount fell due, till the actual its payment. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if zrny, in this Petition, shall stand closed.
