The present Appeal has been filed by the appellants-claimants to enhance the amount awarded by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Additional District Judge, Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar in Motor Accident Claim Petition No. 233 of 2012, by which, the learned Tribunal has awarded a total sum of Rs. 4,52,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Fifty Two Thousand) along with 6% interest per annum from the date of petition till its actual realisation. 2. Heard Mr. Mohd. Azim, learned counsel for appellants and Mr. D. C. S. Rawat, learned counsel for respondent no.
3-Insurance Company. 3. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that both the parties have settled their disputes and they have filed a Compromise Application. 4. As per compromise, the respondent no. 3- Insurance Company will pay a sum of Rs. 3,25,000/-(Rupees Three Lakh Twenty Five Thousand) without any interest as lump sum amount to the appellants-claimants. The said amount shall be deposited within eight weeks’ from today. 5. Learned counsel for the parties have requested to decide the present appeal in terms of the Compromise. 6. The Compromise is verified. 7. On the request of learned counsel for the parties, the present Appeal (AO No. 210 of 2014) is decided in terms of the Compromise. 8.
