MADHU RADHAKRISHNAN,SC THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 04. 12. 2020, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: WP(C). No. 22089 OF 2020(I) 2 JUDGMENT The petitioners have approached this Court aggrieved by the recovery steps initiated by the respondent bank for recovery of defaulted loan amounts. When the matter came up for admission on 23. 10. 2020, this Court had directed the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs. 30 lakhs to the respondents on or before 30. 11. 2020 as a condition for grant of stay of further proceedings.
When the matter was taken up for orders today, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has not complied with the interim direction of this Court. Taking note of the said submission, I find that the petitioner is not entitled to the discretionary relief of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition, therefore, fails and is accordingly dismissed. Sd/- A. K. JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR JUDGE mns/04. 12. 2020 WP(C).
