26803/2020 2 JUDGMENT Dated this the 11th day of December 2020 The petitioner's application for renewal of Poultry Farm Licence is being delayed. According to the Panchayat, they are awaiting response from the Pollution Control Board as to the veracity of the consent issued to the petitioner. 2. According to the learned Standing Counsel, there were objections from the SC/ST Commission, Thiruvananthapuram as to the issuance of consent to the petitioner. The Panchayat is yet to take a decision. The Panchayat is also awaiting a report from the Pollution Control Board. In such circumstances, the second respondent is directed to forward their response to the Panchayat within two weeks. Thereafter, the Panchayat shall take a decision. Till a decision is taken in the matter, coercive steps shall not be taken against the petitioner if he is running the Poultry Farm. The writ petition is disposed of as above. Sd/- A.
