DATTA PURKAYASTHA Order 18/12/2025 During the hearing, Mr. Saugat Datta, learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that a petition for custodial trial of the accused was submitted by the Investigating Officer, which has not yet been disposed of and that today is the date fixed for the formal production of the accused before the learned Trial Court Mr. Rajib Saha, learned Addl.
PP submits that the case has been committed in the Court of the learned Sessions Judge, North Tripura, Dharmanagar. Considered the submissions. In view of the above situation, the present bail application is disposed of with a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, North Tripura, dealing with the case, to dispose of the petition of the Investigating Officer for said custodial trial of the present accused expeditiously and positively by January, 2026 itself.
