Advocate General, Manipur Sub:- W. P(Cril) No. 12 of 2024(Maya Kyay Mon) -vs- State of Manipur & 6 ors. Sir/Madam, With reference to letter No. 11/AG/WP-12-2024/32 dated 27. 11. 2024 on the above subject, I have honour to furnish herewith the step taken report regarding deportation of Norwegian citizen, Miss Mya Kyay Mon(52) yrs. D/o Mr. Htunt Nyutt of 48, Yaw Min Thar Raod, Myaunk Pyin, Mandalay, Myanmar A/P Trondheim Sor Trondelag, Norway, PS Trondelag, District-Sor Trondelag now detained in Women Foreigner’s Detention Centre at Manipur Central Jail, Imphal. That apart from being liason with the concerned authorities for deportation of the above mentioned Nowegian citizen no latest development yet as Air tickets of the above mentioned foreigner which will be arrange by the Norwegian Embassy is still awaiting and as soon as Air tickets is received the said Norwegian citizen may be deport to Norway immediately. Bhadrika) Superintendent Manipur Central Jail, Imphal" Learned Attorney General for India informed this Court that the concerned authority for deportation of Norwegian citizen Air tickets of the above mentioned foreigner which will be arranged by the Norwegian Embassy is still awaiting and as soon as a tickets are received the said Norwegian citizen may be deported to Norway immediately. The aforesaid instruction dated 29. 11. 2024 has been placed on record. In view of the aforesaid instruction submitted before this Court, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition. However, in respect of relief sought for in the present writ petition, the said issue is left open to be decided in the appropriate case.
