Sangma, learned GA appearing for the respondents No. 1-4 today has produced a communication dated 03-09-2024, indicating the fact that an amount of ₹ 17,98,047/- has been sanctioned to be released to the writ petitioner. 2. In view of this development, whereby the payment of the arrear family pension has been settled, this writ petition is disposed of, however, with a direction that the respondents make necessary payment within a period of one month from the date of this order. 3. Mr. S. A. Sheikh, learned counsel for the petitioner however has prayed that though the matter is disposed of, the question of interest be left open to be agitated by the petitioner, if necessary. Prayer is allowed. 4. Copy of the communication dated 03-09-2024 is taken on board and made part of the record.
