Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 3. The petitioner is working as Gram Rozgar Sevak having been appointed as such since 18. 10. 2012 at Chandi Baunsamal Gram Panchayat in the district of Kendrapara. Her grievance is that even though she fulfils the eligibility conditions for absorption as Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator as per the new rules, her name was not recommended. Accordingly, by letter dated 20. 06. 2024, the BDO, Rajnagar has informed the CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Kendrapara of the above fact.
Though her colleagues, who are similarly placed, have already been absorbed, the petitioner’s name has not been considered as yet. 4. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad to consider the grievance of the petitioner with reference to the letter dated 20. 06. 2024 and 30. 11. 2024 of the BDO, Rajnagar and to take a decision regarding absorption of the petitioner as Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator as per the Odisha Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2024, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
