The petitioners approached this Court by way of this writ petition for inter-alia, enhancing age of superannuation of Home Guards personnel from 60 to 62 or 65 or 70 years as done in other States and prays for a direction to the respondents to dispose the representation dated 22. 6. 2024 on merit. By the representation dated 22. 6. 2024, the petitioner prayed for enhancing age of superannuation of Home Guards personnel from 60 to 62-65 years. It is submitted that the representation is still pending with the State respondents. Mr.
Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present writ petition may be disposed of with the direction to the State to dispose of the representation by passing speaking order as per Rule. Mr. H. Samarjit, learned Sr. GA has no objection in passing innocuous order. Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to dispose the pending representation dated 22. 6. 2024 by passing speaking order as per Rule within a stipulated period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
