Case No. 292/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 17(c), 21(c), 22(c), 27(a), 28 & 29 of the N. D. P. S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra. 3. On 06. 09. 2025, Sadar police, Chatra apprehended co-accused persons from Ramtunda Footbal ground and seized about 253 grams of brown sugar from their possession. 4.
It was submitted that petitioner was not apprehended on spot at the place of occurrence. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of apprehended co-accused persons. 5. Learned Special P. P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. 6. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material available against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra in connection with Chatra Sadar P.
