GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 21. 10. 2024 [1] Heard Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Abdul Baqee Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner. [2] The petitioner who is retired as Leading Fireman from Manipur Fire Service submitted a representation dated 01. 04. 2024 to the Director (Fire Service), Manipur for re-fixation of his pay scale and forwarding paper thereof. However, the same is pending with the authority. [3] By the present writ petition, the petitioner prays for a limited prayer for directing respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 01. 04. 2024 by a speaking order within a stipulated time. [4] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned G. A. for the State respondent, submits that he has no objection in passing an innocuous order as prayed for.
[5] Recording the submissions made at the bar, writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 2 i. e. Director, Manipur Fire Service, Government of Manipur to dispose of the representation dated 01. 04. 2024 submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order as per rule within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
