For Respondent(s) : Mr. M Debbarma, Addl. Govt. Adv. , Mr. D Sharma, Addl. Govt. Adv. , Mr. K De, Addl. Govt. Adv. HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. AKIL KURESHI _O_R_D_E_ R_ 17/12/2020 All the petitioners have similar grievances. They are teaching faculties working in Tripura Institute of Technology(TIT) under the Director of Higher Education, Government of Tripura. They have been granted the benefit of higher Grade Pay from Rs. 6,000/- to Rs. 7,000/- in Page - 3 of 3 th the Pay Band of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- under CAS-I from 4 September, 2014 since they possess the necessary higher qualification. However, their demand is that said scale had to be granted upon completion of 5 years of th service which in their cases would be 4 September, 2013. This is the only dispute the petitioners are raising in the present group of petitions. The petitioners had made representations to the authorities earlier. However, the authorities have not given any reply to such representations.
At this stage, let the respondent No. 2, Director of Higher Education, consider these petitions as representations of the petitioners and disposed of the same by a speaking order within 3(three) months. If after such order is passed the grievances of the petitioners still survive, it would be open for them to take legal recourse. All petitions are disposed of accordingly. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. ( AKIL KURESHI, CJ ) Sukehendu
