The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P. S. Case No. 124 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 308(3) and 308(5) of the B. N. S. , pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 14. 04. 2025, rangdari was demanded from the Informant by mobile phone bearing nos. 9477215520 and 9709187060. It was submitted that the mobile phone which was used in demanding rangdari does not belong to the petitioner.
It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that co-accused Jawed Ansari has been granted bail by this Court earlier vide B. A. No. 8740/2025. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.
