[2] The petitioner who is Assistant Professor (Non-functonal) in JNIMS approached this Court inter-alia praying for considering her case to be upgraded to the Assistant Professor (Regular) in Community Medicine and in this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 16. 11. 2024 to the Director, JNIMS. It is submitted that the representation is still pending with the JNIMS authority. [3] Mrs. Th.
Babita, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the writ petition may be disposed of at this stage by issuing an innocuous direction to the Director, JNIMS to consider and dispose of the representation by a speaking order in terms of relevant rules. [4] Mr. Y. Ashang, learned G. A. assisted by Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. G. A. for the State respondent, has no objection in passing an innocuous order as prayed for. [5] Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director, JNIMS to dispose of the representation dated 16. 11. 2024 submitted by the petitioner as per rule within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
