This writ pet it ion is filed allegedly in public int erest . Pet it ioner has sought following relief: - “ ( i) I ssue a writ , rule, order or direct ion in t he nat ur e of m andam us dir ect ing t he respondent nos. 3, 5- 15 t o conclude t he inquiry & subm it t he inquiry r eport in a specific t im e fram e of t he 88 schem es for t he period 2015- 2024 under different heads viz. - NABARD, NRDWP, Dist rict schem e and Jal Jiwan Mission pert aining t o Vikas Khand Tharali and Dewal, Dist rict Cham oli of Ut t arakhand Peyj al Nigam Karnprayag as per office order dat ed 30. 07. 2024 issued by t he Dist rict Magist rat e, Cham oli ( cont ained in Annexur e No. 2) . ” 2. According t o pet it ioner, a num ber of irregularit y and bungling were com m it t ed in const ruct ion of 88 Wat er Supply Schem es in Tehsils Tharali and Deval of Cham oli Dist rict ; Dist rict Magist rat e, Cham oli ordered for an enquiry vide order dat ed 29. 07.
