Sir, Shri Manik Goswami, Ex-Dealer of F. P. Shop No-120 under Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar, West Tripura District has filed a statutory Appeal-Petition to the Principal Secretary, FCS & CA (Appellate Authority) on 21-05-2020 challenging the Order of Cancellation of Ration Shop Dealership Vide No. F. 9(145)SDM/SDR/FOOD/FP/1997/2250-53 dated 22-04-2020 of the Licensing Authority (The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar, West Tripura District). Given the above, you are requested to send detailed report/comments to the said Appeal-Petition so enclosed herewith, along with all relevant supporting documents in a sequential manner and send the same to this office by 05-06-2020 for examination at this end and onward submission to the Appellate Authority. In view of the decision taken by the Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, this court is of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of in the similar terms. Till disposal of the appeal, no recovery shall be made from the petitioner in terms of the memorandum dated 08. 05. 2020 [Annexure-4 to the writ petition]. Mr. T. D. majumder, learned counsel has appeared for the petitioner. In terms of the above, this petition stands disposed of. The petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this court if he is aggrieved by the order of the appellate authority or by any other order related to the subject matter.
