The order that I propose to pass will not prejudice the respondents, therefore, their presence is dispense with. 2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and having gone through the copy of the petition and annexures thereof, I am of the considered view that this petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, Shillong to decide the petitioner’s representation dated 23-12-2016, copy of which is annexed as Annexure-1 at page 13 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within the period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. 3.
It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open. The Chief Executive Member, Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council shall decide the representation on its own merit in accordance with law after following the principles of natural justice. 4. In order to enable the Chief Executive Member to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before him on 14-12-2020 at 11 am along with copy of the said representation and copy of this order. 5.
