Bhagwan Singh, who is lodged in Central Jail, Bikaner on account of treatment of his wife namely Amrit Kaur.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application in this regard has been filed before the Director General Jail, Jaipur, which is still pending. Therefore, it is prayed that some direction may be issued to the Director General Jail, Jaipur to decide the parole application of the petitioner expeditiously. Learned Public Prosecutor does not oppose the prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner. In these facts and circumstances of the case, the instant parole petition is disposed of with direction to the Director General (2 of 2) [CRLW-494/2020] Jail, Jaipur to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of 20 days from the date of receiving certified copy of this order.
