Sr. No. 38 HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case : CPSW No. 230/2014 in SWP No. 2645/2013 Mohd. Parvez …Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through: None. V/s Sheikh Mushtaq and others ... Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Saliqa Sheikh, Assisting counsel to Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG. CORAM: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 19. 12. 2025 The petitioner prays for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for willfully, knowingly and deliberately violating the order dated December 27, 2013 passed by the Writ Court in SWP No. 2645/2013 & CMA No. 3890/2013 (Mohd. Parvez Vs. State of J&K and others). Vide order, referred to above, the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent-Authorities to review order No. 341-RD and PR of 2013 dated December 04, 2013, in the wake of the averments made in the petition as also the annexures appended thereto.
The Authorities were directed to take a formal decision in this regard within a specified time. Learned counsel for the respondents, at the outset, has drawn attention of the Court to the compliance report filed on behalf of the respondents. And, with reference to the averments set out in Para 4 thereof, she submits that upon consideration of the claim of the petitioner sanction/approval was accorded to reinstate him and the period of his suspension was ordered to be treated as on duty. Formal orders passed in this regard are appended as Annexure-A. That being so, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
