2020, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING: WP(C). No. 27021 OF 2020 2 JUDGMENT The petitioner has approached this Court saying that she is a Part-Time Anganwadi Worker, qualified to seek a regular appointment and she has produced on record Exts. P1 to P1(c) in substantiation. She says th that though she was included in the 4 position in Ext. P2 - Seniority List of Anganwadi Workers in the Mullankolli Grama Panchayat, no appointment was made from it until now. She says that, therefore, she has preferred Exts. P4 and P5 representations before the respondents 2 and 3 and prays that the same be directed to be taken up and disposed of at the earliest. 2. However, in response to the afore submissions of the petitioner, made by her learned counsel Shri. Neeraj Narayan, the learned Senior Government Pleader, Shri. Bijoy Chandran submitted that there does not appear to be any legal impediment in the competent Authority considering the claims of the WP(C). No.
27021 OF 2020 3 petitioner, but that the Authority to do so is nd rd not the 2 or the 3 respondents, but the Director of Women and Child Development. He submitted that if the petitioner, therefore, makes a fresh representation before the said Authority, the same can be taken up and disposed of without any delay. In the afore circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition, leaving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Director of Women and Child Development with a fresh representation; and if this is done within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, the same shall be considered by the said Authority, after affording her an opportunity of being heard -either physically or through video conferencing - leading to an appropriate order thereon, as expeditiously as is possible, but not later than one month from the date on which such representation is received by his office.
