No. 18877 OF 2020 2 JUDGMENT The petitioner states that she was working in the 1st respondent Bank as a part-time sweeper on daily wages basis. The vacancy to the post of part-time sweeper arose and in the said circumstances she has submitted a request to the said respondent to appoint her to the vacant post.
She states that respondent Nos. 1 and 2 had taken resolution to appoint the petitioner to the said post for which purpose they had forwarded the said request to the 6th respondent seeking exemption with respect to the upper age limit of the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner herein is that the 6th respondent has not considered Ext. P6 request till date. It is in the above backdrop that she has approached this Court seeking for a direction to the 6th respondent to consider and pass orders in Ext. P6 request submitted by the 1st respondent within a timeframe. 2. I have heard Sri. T. R. Harikumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. 3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances and the submissions made across the Bar, this writ petition is disposed of WP(C). No.
18877 OF 2020 3 directing the 6th respondent to take up Exhibit-P6 and pass appropriate orders, with notice to the persons concerned, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
