JUSTICE YOGENDRA KUMAR PUROHIT Order 05/08/2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned public prosecutor. Admit. Heard learned counsel for the parties on the application seeking suspension of sentences (S. B. Criminal Misc. Bail (Suspension of Sentences) No. 330/2024). It is contended by the counsel for the petitioner-applicant that petitioner has been sentenced for one year R. (2 of 2) [CRLR-1021/2024] Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application for suspension of sentence. I have heard and considered the arguments advanced by the counsel for the parties and have gone through the material available on record. Having considered the facts and circumstances and particularly the fact that petitioner-applicant was on bail during trial and appeal and disposal of revision petition will consume time, therefore, this Court deems it fit and proper to allow the application for suspension of sentences filed by the petitioner-applicant. Accordingly, the application for suspension of sentence is allowed and it is ordered that the sentence passed by the learned CJM, Jaisalmer Regular Cr. Case No. 53/2007 vide order dated 24. 8.
