Rupchandra, learned , learned senior counsel on behalf of the applicant and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA for the State respondents. [2] Vide order dated 02. 08. 2024 passed by this Court in WP(C)No. 837 of 2017, this Court has directed the DGP, Manipur to effect the production of Shri Koijam Suranjoy Singh who submitted joining report th 17. 10. 2010 to the Commandant 6 Bn. Manipur. [3] In the present case, it the case of the petitioner that in his place, respondent No. 6, Mr. Haobam Solendro Singh has joined in the name of the petitioner.
[4] In order to identify of the two riflemen, this Court directed the DGP to effect the production of Shri Koijam Surajoy Singh, who submitted th joining report to the Commandant 6 Bn. Manipur Rifles. th [5] Mr. Th. Dalendra Khuman Subedar, J. C No. 607, 6 MR UKL, th O/C, RHQ, 6 MR appeared on behalf of the DGP. However, Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh has filed the present application being MC(WP(C))No. 505 of 2024 has been filed for dispensing personal appearance of Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh on 28. 08. 2024 due to health ground. [7] In pursuance to the order dated 02. 08. 2024, the Inspector th General of Police(Admn. ) for DGP, Manipur directed the Commandant, 6 Battalion Manipur Rifles, Ukhrul to effect the production of Mr. Koijam th Suranjoy Singh of 6 Bn. Manipur Rifles, Ukhrul today. However, Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel appeared on behalf of Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh who submitted joining report on 17.
10. 2010 and the present application has been filed for dispensing the personal appearance of Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh on 28. 08. 2024 due to health ground. [8] In the circumstances, the application being MC(WP(C))No. 505 of 2024 filed by Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh for dispensing his personal appearance is taken on record and is allowed and his personal appearance is dispensed with for today. However, rifleman Mr. Koijam Suranjoy Singh represented by Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel is directed to appear before this Court in person on the next returnable date without fail.
