Learned counsel for t he pet it ioner, however, subm it s t hat t here are as m any as seven vacancies st ill available on t he post of Bandi Rakshak in Sub- Jail, Roorkee, t herefore, t he reason assigned for not considering t he claim of t he pet it ioners for re- engagem ent is 2025:UHC:10226 incorrect . I t is furt her cont ended t hat pet it ioners have served for long period as Bandi Rakshak, t hereby earned valuable experience; t herefore, engaging fresh hands by replaying pet it ioners would be neit her in public int erest nor in t he int erest of adm inist rat ion. 6.
Having regard t o t he st at em ent m ade by learned counsel for t he pet it ioners t hat seven vacancies are st ill available on t he post of Bandi Rakshak, t he writ pet it ion is disposed of wit h libert y t o pet it ioners t o m ake represent at ion( s) t o t he Superint endent , Sub- Jail, Roorkee. I n t he represent at ion( s) , t hey will give t he det ails of t he vacancies available on t he post of Bandi Rakshak.
