' 2, Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for School Education appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 4 and perused the record. 3. The case of the petitioner, in brief, is that the petitioner's ward was pursuing her studies in Rosary Convent High School, Gunfoundry, Abids, Hyderabad, and had appeared for S. S. C. Public Examinations held in Ylarch,2024 (Regular); that the respondents have issued Memorandum of Subject Wise Pedormance in respect of petitioner's ward showing she having secured Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 8.
7; that the aforesaid CGPA is based on wrong calculation of marks secured by the ,. petitioner's ward; and that the petitioner,s ward, on seeking revaluation, had noticed that the respondents did not calculate/total her marks correctly, resulting in the petitioner,s ward being shown as having secured a lesser CGpA, thereby affecting her future prospects. 4. Petitioner fufther contends that since on account of carelessness and negligence on the part of the respondents in calculating the marks secured correcfly for award of CGpA, the respondents shoulcl be directed to correct the carcuration errors and issue fresh Memorandum of subject Wise Performance. 5. A counter-affidavit on behalf of the respondents is flled. 6.
By the counter-alfidavit, the respondents have stated that on re- verification, the authorities have found the petitioner,s ward having been granted one Grade point extra in Second Language (Telugu), while in Science, she was granted three points Grade less and accordingly the authorities have now revised the Grade points. 7. Learned Government pleader for School Education further submits that on account of revision of Grade points, the cumulative o' the Grade Points secured by the petitioner,s ward in each of the six subjects would be 54, the average of which comes to 9. 0. as against 8. 7 shr:wn in the Memorandum of Subject Wise performance issued in March, 2024. tw B. Learned Government Pleader further submits that since on re-verification the authorities having found the above errors, the authorities would issue revised Memorandum of Subject Wise Performance to the petitioner's ward by incorporating the aforesaid changes. 9. I have taken note ofthe respective contentions urged.
10. Having regard to the submissions made as above, and taking note of the fact that the petitioner's ward having been awarded one grade point extra in one subject, while three grade points less in another subject, and since, the respondents-authorities having corrected the said mistake now, this Court is of the view that the authorities are to be directed to issue a revised Memorandum of Subject Wise Performance by mentioning the correct CGPA of all the aforesaid subjects within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 11.
