Ranakumar & anr. … Applicants Vs. State of Manipur & ors. … Respondents B E F O R E HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH O R D E R 20-12-2024 The present application has been filed with a prayer for issuing a direction to the Chief Manager, SBI Kakching Branch for allowing the present petitioners to operate their bank accounts in the said bank in view of the interim order dated 11. 11. 2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 783 of 2024 whereby allowing the present petitioners to continue as a Managing Committee of Padma Ratna English School until further order. Mr. R. K.
Surjit, learned counsel representing the aforesaid State Bank of India, submitted that as no specific direction has been issued by this Court directing the SBI to allow the present applicants to operate their bank accounts and as another application filed by other private party is pending before them, they did not allowed the present applicants to operate their bank accounts. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the earlier interim order passed by this Court, this Court sees no justification or valid reason in the submission made on behalf of the SBI by the learned counsel representing them. Accordingly, the Chief Manager, SBI Kakching Branch, is hereby directed to allow the present petitioners to operate their bank accounts until the next date of hearing without any hindrance. With the aforesaid direction, the present application is hereby disposed of.
Registry is directed to furnish a copy of this order to all the learned counsel appearing for the parties through whatsapp/email for doing the needful. JUDGE I ndr ajeet
