Sr. No. 103 HIGH COURT OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR AT JAMMU WP(C) No. 1661/2020 CM Nos. 5762/2020, 5763/2020 (Through video conferencing) Jyoti Devi ..... Petitioner(s) Through :- Mr. Ankur Sharma, Advocate V/s Union Territory of J&K and others ..... Respondent(s) Through :- Mr. A. M. Malik, Dy. AG Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE TASHI RABSTAN, JUDGE ORDER Mr. A. M. Malik, learned Dy. AG has filed the latest status report, contended therein that the communication dated 27. 10. 2020 addressed by the Assistant Director, FCS & CA Deptt. Kathua to the Director, FCS & CA Deptt. Jammu reveals that as per the telephonic report of Tehsil Supply Officer, Hiranagar, the file of the Fair Price Shop of Parveen Singh S/o Sh. Subash Singh R/o Murli Chakra Hiranagar, District Kathua has been processed and sent to Assistant Director Office Kathua vide communication No. 362/TSO/Hgr dated 06. 05. 2020, however, the said file never reaches the office of Assistant Director, FCS & CA, Kathua.
It is further contended in the status report that on enquiry from the Tehsil Supply Officer, Hiranagar, it is revealed that the file already stands handed over to Parveen Singh in person and the same has not been submitted in the office of Assistant Director, Kathua by him. In view of filing of the status report, the relief sought by the petitioner in the writ petition, whereby seeking direction to the official 2 WP(C) No. 1661/2020 respondents not to grant license of Fair Price Shop to the respondent No. 5 is without any substance. Viewed thus, this writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to approach this Court again, if he will have any grievance against respondent No. 5, in future.
