Shri Bhawani Singh Detha, Secretary, Department Of Local Self Govt. , Rajasthan, Jaipur 2. Ujjawal Rathore, Director, Local Self Government, Department Of Local Self, Rajasthan, Jaipur 3. Suresh Kumar Ola, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jodhpur ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. D. L. R. Vyas JUSTICE DINESH MEHTA Order 18/12/2024 1. By way of these contempt petitions, the petitioners have alleged non-compliance of the orders dated 21. 01. 2019 and 20. 12. 2018 passed by this Court in respective writ petitions filed by the petitioners. [2024:RJ-JD:52306] (4 of 4) [WCP-437/2020] 2. Having regard to the nature of the orders dated 21. 01. 2019 and 20. 12.
2018 so also the orders passed in other contempt petitions, this Court has every reason to believe that the orders under consideration must have been complied with, as has been done in various other cases. 3. Mr. Vyas, learned counsel for the petitioners is not in a position to assert as to whether the compliance of the orders under consideration has been made or not. 4. It is to be noted that the contempt petitions were filed in July, 2020 and even cognizance against the respondents have not been taken. 5. Such being the position, the contempt petitions are disposed of, while giving petitioners a liberty to apply for revival of these contempt petitions, if any of the petitioners’ grievance still survives.
