Item No. 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF MANIPUR AT IMPHAL WP(C) No. 671 of 2024 Laishram Nganthoi ….. Petitioner/s - Versus – State of Manipur & Anr. .... Respondent/s BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 23. 09. 2024 [1] Heard Mr. Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. [2] The petitioner approached this Court for declaration of the result of the special DPC held in pursuance to the directions issued by this Court in the connected case as the same is not declared. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 29. 08. 2024 to the Commissioner (Social Welfare), Government of Manipur and to the Director of Social Welfare, Manipur for declaring the same. It is submitted that the representation is still pending with the authority. [3] At this stage, Mr.
Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondents to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner to declare the result of the special DPC held as directed by this Court within a stipulated period. [4] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned G. A. for the State respondent, has no objection in passing an innocuous order. [5] Recording the submissions made at bar, writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 29. 08. 2024 submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as per rule. [6] It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case. [7] With this observation, writ petition is disposed of. [8] Furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel appearing for all the parties. JUDGE Kh. Joshua Maring Digitally signed by KH. JOSHUA KH.
