S. case No. 22/2020, Special case No. 552/2020, registered u/s 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
The tea shop of the petitioner was searched and four bottles of cough syrup was recovered from the shop of the petitioner. 45 liters of country made liquor was recovered from behind the shop of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10. 07. 2020. The petitioner has, of course, got criminal antecedents but he has remained in jail for Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 33329 of 2020(2) dt. 15-12-2020 2/2 more than five months for recovery of 45 liters of country made liquor. Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Araria in connection with Sadar Circle Excise (Araria) P. S. case No. 22/2020, Special case No.
