IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A. B. A. No. 6292 of 2020 --- Madina Khatoon … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … … Opposite Party --- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Shyam Narsaria, Advocate For the Opposite Party : Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, A. P. P. --- 2/17. 12. 2020 Heard the parties. Defects as pointed out by the office are ignored. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mandar P. S. case no. 158 of 2019 arising out of Complaint Case No. 2120 of 2017. It has been alleged that the accused wanted to purchase the land of the complainant at a lower price. It has been alleged that the accused persons regularly threatened the informant and on 23. 04. 2017, they were forcing the complainant to sign on a blank paper and on denial, he was abused. It has further been alleged that on 07. 05. 2017, the informant was abused and assaulted by the accused persons.
It appears that several of the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this court in A. B. A. No. 1862 of 2020. The matter seems to have been compromised between the parties. On consideration of the above, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction st of learned Judicial Magistrate 1 class cum Additional Munsif Ranchi, in connection with Mandar P. S. case no. 158 of 2019 arising out of Complaint Case No. 2120 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This application stands allowed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) R. Shekhar Cp 3
