M H LASKAR Advocate for the Respondent : GA, ASSAM Page No. # 2/2 - B E F O R E - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SUMAN SHYAM ORDER Date : 21-12-2020 Heard Mr. M. H.

Laskar, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner. Also heard Ms. K. Phukan, learned Government Advocate, Assam, appearing for all the respondents. There is no wrangle at the bar that the petitioner has an appellate remedy provided under Section 29(1) of the Assam Public Distribution of Articles Order, 1982. If that be so, I am of the view that considering the nature of grievance expressed in this writ petition, the petitioner be directed to avail the appellate remedy. Ordered accordingly. This writ petition stands disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to avail the appellate remedy. It is made clear that if such an appeal is filed by the petitioner within 2(two) weeks from today, the same be considered as expeditiously as possible and disposed of within a further period of 8(eight) weeks from the date of filing the appeal by following the due course of law.
