Rommel, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1 and Mr. N. Kumarjit, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Monish, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2. [2] The present application has been filed with a prayer for issuing summons to the official witness viz. , Shri Moirangthem Inaobi Singh, S/o (L) M.
Ibochao Singh of Moirang Hemem Leikai, earlier serving as Executive Officer, Moirang Municipal Council, Moirang for his appearance before the appointed Advocate Commissioner for his examination as a witness in connection with Election Petition No. 2 of 2022. [3] All the counsels appearing for the parties unanimously submitted that examination of the said witness is required for deciding the issues framed by this Court. [4] In view of the submission made above, Registry is directed to issue summons to the said Official Witness for his appearance before the appointed Advocate Commissioner on a date fixed by the appointed Advocate Commissioner. [5] The Executive Officer, Moirang Municipal Council, Moirang is hereby directed to produce the relevant official records through Moirangthem Inaobi Singh on the date of his appearance before the appointed Advocate Commissioner.
