This CRLMP has been filed for a direction to the Opposite Parties No. 2 and 3 to register the written information as FIR. 2. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the family members of his wife have illegally detained her and when he went to meet her, they abused and assaulted him. He lodged an FIR on 01. 02. 2026 before the I. I. C. , Laxmisagar Police Station, but he did register any case, for which the FIR has sent to him by speed post on 11. 02. 2026.
When this did not produce results, the copy of the complaint along with his grievance petition was sent to the DCP, Bhubaneswar on 19. 02. 2026. 3. After hearing the learned counsel for the Petitioner and perusing the materials on record, it is apparent that the main allegation of the Petitioner is that his wife is being illegally detained by her parents, even though she is a major. 4. Hence, I feel that the Petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy, for which I am not inclined to entertain the CRLMP. 5. The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of. 6.
