JUSTICE GOLMEI GAIPHULSHILLU 20. 12. 2024 Heard Mr. Ch. Momon, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Y. Ashang, learned counsel appearing for the respondent. Vide order dated 21. 11. 2022, the petitioner was released on interim bail by this Court. Operative portion of order dated 21. 11. 2022 is reproduced herein below; “In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for interim bail. The prayer for passing interim bail will be considered on the next date. However, as an interim measure till the next date, it is hereby directed that in the event of the arrest of the petitioner in connection with the FIR No. 9(5)2022 Women Police, Thoubal, he shall be released on bail with a Bail bond of Rs.
50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with one surely to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. It is, hereby also directed that the petitioner should co-operate with the further investigation of the aforesaid FIR and that he should not try to intimidate or meet the victim girl or any of the witnesses. The petitioner shall not leave the State without prior permission of the Trial Court It is also further made clear that in the event of violation of any of the above conditions by the petitioner, the respondents are at liberty to approach this Court for modification or cancellation of this order” On perusal of record, it is found that this AB case is pending since 2022, it was filed on 09. 11. 2022 and both the learned counsels for the parties fairly submits that Charge-sheet was already submitted to the prosecution director by the I. O of the case and it is going to be filed before the Court any time as soon as possible. In the facts and circumstances, the interim order dated 21. 11.
