[2] Mr. H. Ishawarlal, learned senior counsel for the petitioner approached this Court challenging the suspension order dated 28. 03. 2024 th issued by Commandant, 7 MR Khabeisoi on the ground that the same is not maintainable and the Assam Police Manual does not provide such suspension order. [3] During the course of hearing, Mr. Shyam Sharma informed this Court that the impugned suspension order dated 28. 03. 2024 has been th revoked by Commandant 7 Bn, Manipur Rifles, Khabeisoi vide order dated 19. 08.
2024 and the subsequent order is taken on record. [4] It is submitted that with the subsequent order of revocation, the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous and writ petition may be closed. [5] Mr. H. Ishwarlal, learned senior counsel for the petitioner is agreeable to the submission made by Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA for the State respondents. [6] Recording the submissions made at the bar and taking into consideration the subsequent revocation order dated 19. 8. 2024, writ petition is closed as infructuous.
