The official Central portal states that no fee is payable for a first appeal and uses the original registration number for an online appeal. For a manually filed request or a State authority, check the correct appeal channel and local rules. Distinguish an RTI appeal from a general service grievance. This document does not itself lodge an appeal until it is submitted through an accepted channel. This is an original LawSphereX editable aid based on the references below. It is not a government-issued form, certification, legal opinion or promise that a request will be accepted. Where an authority prescribes a form, use that current form.
