THE SIKH GURDWARAS (SUPPLEMENTARY) ACT, 1925 ACT NO. 24 OF 1925 th [Received the assent of the Governor-General on the 11 September, 1925.] An Act to supplement certain provisions of the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925. WHEREAS it is expedient to supplement, by legislation in the Indian Legislature, certain provisions of the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925, for the purposes hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Sikh Gurdwaras (Supplementary- ) Act, 1925. 1 2 3 (2) It shall come into force on the date appointed by the [ (State Government)], under sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925. Validation of certain provisions of Punjab Act 8 of 1925.—The Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925 4 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), shall so far as it adds to or takes from the jurisdiction of the [High 5 Court of (Punjab)] or prescribes the procedure of the said Court, be as valid as if it had been passed by the Indian Legislature.
